Not sure what to say?

Damon, Melissa and Garth,
I was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of your dad. I will always remember his laugh, practical jokes, dedication to his business and family, and general joie de vivre. Whenever I have to get up especially early for work, I think of your dad, knowing that he has already been up and at it for hours. I hope that time eases your pain and holds your memories dear. My thoughts and prayers - along with those of Todd and my Mom - are with you.

In the past few years I have gotten to know Dave very well. He brought so much love and joy to my life, he was my best friend. He was so very proud of his children and grandchildren. May you rest in peace you will be deeply missed.

Dave and I go back to the '60s when he was my Asst. Mgr at Standard Station 3916 on the corner of Euclid and El Cajon in San Diego. We maintained a long friendship that was broken when I moved to the northern part of the state. He was one of God's most gracious people and made my world a better place by knowing him

With sincere sympathy from the family.

So sorry - such a great guy

Dear Oppenheimer Family,
My deepest sympathies are with you all. Your togetherness and strength as a loving family are a wonderful tribute to your father/grandfather and I know he was proud to have all of you as a legacy to a life well lived.

Very sorry to hear that "Opps" is no longer with us. He was a hard working man who was called to his rest much too soon.
More than that he was a good person who prized his family and friends above all else.
Rest in peace, Dave!
