Not sure what to say?

Our late condolences. Our family was one of the lucky few to live in an Osler built home in Ann Arbor. My father (a UM professor Emeritus, RIP) worked with Mr. Osler on the design -- and was proud to talk about it with us always.

Dear Connie and Family my Deepest Sympathy for your resent loss of David. Sorry I am so late but we started to move to Sarasota, Fl. and my wife had a heart attach. We are still trying to get settled. David was a highly talented Architect and a credit to the Profession.

I'm so sorry to learn of the passing of Mr. Osler. I have many fond memories of visiting the Osler home. I went to University School with Robin. I remember riding in Mr. Osler's Porsche, going up to Mimi's house for cookies, overnights in your home which I still remember for it's design -- especially the kitchen and Robin's room with the built in bed : ) Peter recognized me years ago in Petoskey, MI -- that's the last time I think I saw a member of the family. My sympathies to all of you...

Mr. Osler designed the University's Children's Center as one of his final projects. I was privileged to work with him and will never forget him and his extraordinary talents and grace.

Mr. Osler let me observe for part of day in 1969 as part of my ninth grade Tappan Jr. High career exploration project as I was interested in architecture at the time. And his son Peter, I had met at Concordia College as part of the Dave Strack Basketball camp.
I still love architecture but I chose dentistry as it is more social. He seemed so at home on Fuller Ave, in his quietude and reflection and creativity and draftsmanship. I loved all of his projects and especially the finale on...

I well remember Dave. I lived in the 907
Lincoln Dwelling which was completed, as
I recall in 1964-65. He was such a quiet, kind and friendly guy. Great Architect. Sigma Phi has always loved
Dave and his wonderful contribution
to our lives. God Bless him and his
fine Family.

Blessings to the Osler family. I went to University School with Peter beginning in nursery school and later at Greenhills. I spent many over nights at the Osler home in sleeping bags in the libary with Peter. I remember Connie's wonderful dinners and walking to Grandma's house with Peter for fresh baked cookies. I will keep you all in my prayers.

I feel lucky to have known him, and honored to live in one of his exquisite homes. My sincerest thoughts to Mrs. Osler, Molly, Robin and Peter.
