David Lynn Ousterling

I was and am very saddened to hear that Dave passed away in Sep. We were in Kindergarten through 12th grade together in the Waupun, Wi public schools. We both played cornet, and frequently sat next to each other in band. On one occasion, we travelled to Madison to stay overnight at one of his aunts in preparation for hearing Raphael Mendez - the great Mexican trumpet player perform the night before our own high school band was to perform. It is with great sympathy and much fondness that I remember Dave Ousterling. His infectious smile and gracious mannerism's will always be remembered. My thoughts and prayers go out to the Ousterling Family.

We were so sorry to read about David. We know he will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

To the family of Dave Ousterling, much love and sympathy in your time of loss and remembrance. It is deeply hard to loose a parent and grandparent. I will always remember Mr. Ousterling as a fun and spirited man. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.

What a terrible loss. I have known Dave for 40 years -- from Mt. Lakes to Laguna to Indian Wells..sharing ups and downs, the lives of our kids and grandkids, and most recently the issues of illness. Diane has been an important part of Daves life, and I grieve for her together with the rest of the family. I will miss him. Jim
