Many of my fondest memories from working at NOACA include DEO! He was kind, witty, considerate and well-educated in the programs that NOACA had responsibility for. His knowledge helped me significantly as I wrote for the agency's newsletters and annual report and he was my primary resource when I compiled the history of NOACA for our 40th anniversary edition. My condolences to Dave's family. Dave and I worked together for many years at NOACA. He was one of the most well-respected and knowledgeable people in our profession. In fact, he was one of the pioneers of modern transportation planning. In addition to his deep knowledge, he was a true gentleman and a great friend. I always enjoyed our conversations on many topics. I hope memory of Dave's good work and companionship bring comfort to you.
