Mary Ann, Eric & Amy I´m praying for you and your family David was a wonderful mentor and I learned so much from him. He never hesitated to talk about his family. Mary Ann he adored you and was so proud of Eric and Amy. I´m deeply sorry for your loss. Praying for you all as you walk through this difficult grief journey

We send our condolences to the entire family at this tragic event. We only know Debbie and Bruce and their daughters but know the shock all are experiencing. As we only live about 30 minutes from HHI, we would have loved to have been there to hold a hand, put our arms around you, and most importantly pray. God knew the plan. (Ephesians 1:11) so it is us left behind who are shocked and grieve. Blessings as you all move ahead.

My sincerest condolences to your family (Linda Eichenlaub Maughan (granddaughter of Helen Cummins Errington, daughter of Fred and Joan Eichenlaub)

Our family was vacationing in HHI and on beach this day. We are from East TN and my mother was an Owens. My husband and I assisted in the line search. Our hearts are broken for all that loved Mr. Owens. It is obvious from what we read here, he was an amazing man and had a full life. Prayers for all. May the Lord bring you comfort.

Mary Ann we are so sad to hear of David´s passing. You and all the family are in our thoughts and prayers at this most difficult time. With our deepest sympathy, Sherry and Darrell

Offering my deepest sympathies to his family. I have fond memories of David from high school. Terry Mulac Murphy
