Not sure what to say?

I'm so sorry for your loss. He was one of the greats! Just ordered his book. Rest in peace Dave.

one of the finest men I have known

Dave Packer was the coolest. We worked together for years at the early part of my career, and he consistently took the time to teach me things and make me laugh. It never ceased to amaze me that an engineer from MIT could struggle so much with putting paper in the printer--but it spoke to his humility and good-sported-ness that he was equally amazed.
In the times we got together socially, Dave was always up for reciting some Kipling or (after a few drinks) bellowing the famous intro to...

You and Ginny were very special friends to our family. The mark you left on our hearts is deep and forever. Rest in Peace, Dave.

Dave was a dear co-worker and friend. Working with him at GKA, Inc. and then starting the Systems Thinking Collaborative with him were some of the most impactful years of my life. His deeply human approach to business and life made made him a great partner. It is heartening to know Ginny and the rest of their large and beautiful family will carry on in Dave's passion for life and justice.

I knew David through many System Dynamics meetings and conferences. He was an unusually warm and caring person, modest but always willing to share details of his fascinating life when prodded. My sincere condolences to GInny and the family.

Dave was a wonderful person who, with his wife Ginny Wiley Packer, was instrumental in my career development. From our early visits to New Zealand to facilitate systems thinking courses for GKA Inc to our partnership in bringing Pegasus Communication to a fruitful conclusion (www.thesystemsthinker.com) to a recent illicit pandemic visit to watch Hamilton at his house, he has left an indelible imprint on my life. He will be missed. My thoughts are with the family.
