Dear Family, Dave was the "Grumpy old man" and love to catch everyone off guard. I'm so sorry to have learned of his death. He was and always will be "Bubba" and one of my best friends. May life has been richer for having been around him. May the Good Lord bless and keep you always. Love Don and Pat.

So very sorry to hear of David's passing. We taught together at Alta and Jordan and I so much enjoyed our association. Hoping fond memories will ease the pain and bring comfort.

Dave recruited me to teach woodworking at Alta in the shop that he had designed. That was a little tough at first but we soon learned to work through our problem. He taught my wife and I how to catch catfish on the Jordan River as well as other great times we had at department socials. What a great friend whom we will all miss.

Dear Palmer Family, I will truly miss David. I will miss his mischievous smile and daily visits to my office. He would always ask me if I had a screwdiver or hammer for him to use. He was our fix it man. This is a blessing for now he is an angel to watch over you and not be bound to this earth in a broken body/mind. You are in my prayers. Cindy H.
