I have very fond memories of Dr Pankin as a young lad. He was my first adult doctor and primary care physician throughout my teens in the Albany area. He was also my father's medical partner and colleague in private practice for over four decades. My annual physicals, immunizations and blood-drawing needles notwithstanding, were punctuated with jovial exchanges, witty remarks, and sincere inquiry into my development as a musician and human being.
