Lewallen-Garcia-Pipkin Funeral Home Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of David Parra, 30, of Midland, Texas, who left this world far too soon on July 7, 2025. Born on January 28, 1995, to Olivia R. Holguin and Daniel J. Parra, David was a bright light whose presence could fill any room.

David had a gift for making people laugh—his silly personality, infectious smile, and quick wit brought joy to everyone around him. He was the kind of person who could lift your spirits with just a few words, and he never let anyone feel alone or forgotten. His heart was big, always open to help others, whether it was lending a hand, offering advice, or simply being there when it mattered most.

He was a devoted husband to his wife, Yalissa Ramirez, and a proud father to their son, DavidLee Parra, who was his greatest joy and biggest accomplishment. Everything David did was for his family, and he made sure they always felt loved, protected, and supported.

He is survived by his parents, Olivia and Daniel, his brothers Eddie Parra, Aiydan Madrid, Mark Parra, and Daniel Parra, and his sisters Mineydi Galindo and Bianca Parra. He was an amazing son, brother, uncle, and cousin who never missed a moment to show his love and make memories with those closest to him.

David is preceded in death by his grandpa Ramon Holguin; grandparents, Cipriano and Librada Parra, and his beloved aunts, Martha Parra and Olivama Cruz, who now welcome him with open arms.
