Dear Jean,
I am very sorry that I hadn't made a point to visit and see the both of you earler. I didn't know that Dave had fallen-ill until a couple of weeks ago. I talked to Wes at the farm. I wanted to see you and Dave and tell you how much I appreciate your generosity over the years. He was a good man. One who will be sorely missed. I only wish that I had made it by to tell the both of you in person before now.

dear jean,i was so sorry to hear about dave i will always remember him being so helpful when i worked at the county nursing home.he loved cooking for the residents in the old building and always bringing them special treats.i will also remember how much he loved nagshead and his stories about his vactions in NC.thanks to him it became our vacation spot.dave is now at peace and with his family in heaven.i will never forget the both of you for being so caring.your family is in my prayers,love...
