Our memories of you, Betsy, and David are some of our most treasured teaching experiences. David was simply a pure heart. His smile and goodness emanated from him, and the two of you together were a force. I still remember his wonderful laugh and positive attitude. He was a special man and apparently you both created a beautiful family. We are deeply sorry but know that he is still in our hearts too. It is our honor to remember him. So sorry to hear of David's passing. He was very caring and loving to all.I have many fond memories of going to Saints games with David and his friends. Also I will always remember very dearly how his dad Spiro made my first day serving as a Coast Guard inspector on the Harvey a very warm introduction to the Belle Chasse marine industry family. I am so sorry to learn of David's passing - he had just joined our retreat group a few years ago and I must admit that I had not gotten much of a chance to know him. I offer my most heartfelt condolences to his family and friends and will pray for the repose of his soul and in thanksgiving for his life among us.
