David S. Pemberton, 68, of Moose Lake, MN, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, June 6, 2025 after struggling with many health issues. David was born on November 6, 1956 in Kansas City, MO. At 12 years old, his family moved to Willow River, MN where David worked on his family's dairy farm until 1987. He was then employed as a mechanic at Gateway Tire and Service for 31 years. David was a devoted family man who loved with his whole heart and was always willing to help others. A sincerely humble man, David will be remembered for his benevolence. He enjoyed gardening, playing games with his family, and woodworking. David volunteered at the local train museum and often joked around with his family. He found great comfort and joy in his Christian faith and served at Moose Lake Covenant Church for over 30 years. David took great pride in his Family and is survived by his wife: Becky Pemberton; his daughters: Katie Newmarch (Earl Newmarch) and Anita Jones (Russell Jones); grandchildren: Asher, Lilliana, Ezra, Brandon, and Zachary; brother: John Pemberton (Mona Pemberton); sister: Julie Maser (Doug Maser); and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends, all who loved him dearly.
David was preceded in death by his father: James Robert Pemberton and his mother: Grace Marie Spong Pemberton.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be on Sunday, June 15, 2025 from 4-6pm in the Evangelical Covenant Church, Moose Lake.

I am so sorry to learn of David's passing. My Father-in-Law was so dedicated to his family and they relied on his wisdom and leadership so much. I wish I could have know him better, but living two-hours away and working long hours full-time, it just wasn't possible. I will miss talking about model trains and family genealogy with him. My prayers go out to his family, especially Katie and Becky.
