David M. Perez, II, 27, of Lorain, went home to be with Lord Thursday, February 22, 2018 unexpectedly in Metro Health Medical Center, Cleveland.

He was born September 13, 1990 in Lorain to his loving parents David and Mayra (née Laboy) Perez. He graduated from Southview High School in 2008. He attended Lorain County Community College, to get a degree cinematography to direct film which was his dream. He went on a mission trip to Veracruz, Mexico with the House of Praise. He loved wrestling, movies and was an avid reader. David was a kind and caring soul who always put others first. He enjoyed his cat Leonard (aka Chuck).

Other than his parents David will be deeply missed by his brothers Alexander and Jared Perez both of Lorain; his grandparents Sonia Perez (née Melendez) of Palm Bay, Florida and Fabio Perez also of Florida; uncles Jose, Lee and Axel Laboy and Danny (Joyce) Perez; and a aunt Denitza (Manuel) Hernandez; cousins Christian Perez, Alicia and Javian Perez, Christian Laboy, Carissa and Aaliyah Hernandez, Christian Fisher, Juan, Esteban and Manny Detres and a special great aunt Evelyn (Ivan) Arocho.

David was preceded in death by his grandparents Jose and Sofia (née Garcia) Laboy.

His family will receive friends Tuesday, February 27, from 4 to 8 in in The House of Praise, 4321 Elyria Avenue, Lorain. A celebration of David's life will be Wednesday at 10 AM at the church. Pastor Gilbert Silva will officiate. His burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township.
