Not sure what to say?

Dave as I knew him was the most gifted tenor gospel music singer I've ever herd. I went to JCM their first semester in the Jackson, MS area. God blessed him with a great voice and he was a wondeful person.

I was just trying to find out what happened to "Dave Peters" as I knew him in the early 70s and my research brought me here.. I was a member of the First United Pentecostal Church of Ft Worth and the Lanny Wolfe trio appeared there often. No other group in gospel music has ever meant as much to me as the Lanny Wolfe Trio. RIP David Peterson. Over the years you blessed hundreds of thousands with music of true consecration. So sad to read of your passing.

Many wonderful memories with Dave and Bonita...Very sorry for your loss❤

I am saddened to learn of the passing of this gifted singer. I had the opportunity of hearing him at many Lanny Wolfe Trio concerts in my home state of Michigan when I was still just a teenager. Additionally, when I attended Jackson College of Ministries for a semester in 1975, it was like getting to raid the candy dish constantly as the trio was singing all the time at the local church! His voice soared with such ease and smoothness and blended perfectly with Marietta and Lanny. Just...

May God bless you and your family. With so much love and prayer.

i would like to express our sympathy to the family. Davids Dad and I were 1st cousins so David would be a second cousin. I had not seen David or his brother Dick since they were very young. His parents had a cabin on Prior Lake in Minnesota where we would go quite often for water skiing as i had a boat. By the way does anyone know what ever happened to Davids brother Dick or Dickie. Anyway everyone is in our prayers. Take care.

His voice has not been silenced. Just singing a new song in a better place! Love and prayers.
