David Phipps

I have known David many years--he was my junior high science teacher at Franklin Monroe. Later, we became friends, and we've stayed in touch ever since. David loved Christ and humbly served Him. He brought much glory and honor to His King, and, as a result, many experienced the grace of God through his life. He will be missed. Now he sees Him face to face.

I met Dave on a mission trip to Jamaica. His heart and dedication to god were so pure. When we returned to Dayton we would often have lunch. He always asked about what I was doing and how my family was fairing. He would tell me of his struggles to help villages in Africa or efforts to aid Trotwood. What a special person. People like him are rare and missed in the extreme. They cannot be replaced. Thank you and bless you Dave. I was so fortunate to know you.
