Thanks for giving me my first real job as a graphic designer David. I prayed for you many times back in those days. I'm glad to say I will see you again in the presence of the Lord. My prayers and thoughts are with your family and the family of friends at UPK. Jason Chris Stansberry

I am so sorry to hear this sad, sad news. I did not know until just now. I loved David , he was a special man and a great friend. My heart is breaking tonight, but I am so thankful to have enjoyed his friendship over the years. My Dad loved him also.

The best friend and mentor a person could have. It's hard for some to believe that a man like Pickell with such a rough exterior, was so kind hearted. But not me! David believed in me and gave me a start at UPK. Though the last 28 years he was always there. Not only talk to, but rely on. Pickell, I will miss you, but I know for sure we will be chatting and playing some ball again one day. I love ya man. Dee, Ryan and family hang in there, Dave is in a better place. I just heard the news today and I'm deeply sorry to hear the tragic news of David's passing. David is just a stand-up, terrific guy - he always made me smile and laugh. I truly enjoyed working with him. He went out of his way to offer great printing services with outstanding customer service. My sincerest condolences to his family and his United Printing Family!
