I am SO sad to hear of David's passing. We were good friends growing up and lived just a few blocks apart. We attended Sacred Heart together from kindergarten thru high school. I have many fond memories of our time spent together as children and adults. I had the pleasure of knowing Gene and David's family. My thoughts and prayers are with them now and I offer my sincere condolences.

My memories of David go back to Sacred Heart High and especially to the polka dances we used to attend together at the Bridge St. Tavern. Times with David were always filled with laughter. My heartfelt sympathies go to Gene and all of David's family. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

I can't even put into words on what an awesome friend David was to me for so many years. He is going to be missed by family and friends alike . . . his golden acts of kindness and friendship are so rare in someone's life and I am forever grateful that he was a part of mine. I will miss him dearly.
