Not sure what to say?

Dave and I used to hang out, with Paul, in high school. Some of my fondest memories from high school involved Dave. Driving around just a bunch of nice kids looking for stuff do or going to school events. I am heartbroken to hear of his passing. He was much too young. Paul, I will keep you in my prayers especially.

Remembering fondly the times that Dave and I worked together at SBC--he was smart and funny. My deepest sympathy to Debbie, their children and all who loved Dave.

Sending my sympathy to the entire Pilla Family. Sorry for your loss.

Attended St. Sebastian grade school with you, and worked at AT&T, where I would run into Dave.

Nice Man, Nice Family. Thinking of you.

Pat (Russo) Torti

Debbie and Family, We just heard of Dave's untimely passing and are so sorry for your loss. We all enjoyed talking to Dave when he was visiting his mom when she was here with us. He was a great son. Please accept our deepest condolences. Love, Patty, Lynn, Shakora and your Garden Villas North Family

My deepest sympathies to the entire Pilla family, especially Aunt
Delores. He was taken too young and too suddently. May God bring you peace.
"My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever." Psalm 76:23

Debbie and Family, Sorry for your loss at this difficult time. Treasure all the wonderful memories that your family and friends had with your husband and Dad, David. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Dave was an extraordinary and inspiring man. His service of the poor as a Vincentian was a shining example of what good Christians should do. He believed in empowering the poor. I got to know Dave when he volunteered for Vinnie's Autos, a program of the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul. He helped us save cars that otherwise would not have been economically-justifiable to save; these cars were provided to working families to enable them to travel to work. Dave and I became good friends. ...

My sincere condolences to the Pilla family. I will remember Dave as a gentle man who went out of his way to help me and others at AT&T.

My thoughts, prayers and sympathy to Debbie and children. It was a joy to know Dave and work with him.
