Dave was my friend. We laughed, we talked, we prayed and we cried together. I will miss his smile and his friendship. He was a good man with a great heart.

David always seemed to have a smile on his face. He enjoyed helping others and his life seemed full of joy. I have a very fond memory, he was up on stage cast as a king in a play at DUMC. Tall and strong, well suited for the part. This is the first time I met David, a memory that will last forever. You will be missed but not forgotten my friend.

Aways enjoyed Daves presence. A vibrant man. Strong in his faith. It was a joy when he prayed at our Tuesday morning prayer breakfast! His prayers were full of feelings. Dave would pray in a firm clear voice. His voice was heard by all of us and I am sure our Lord heard him and smiled. I will miss Dave.... for now. Dave, Stay Strong, I will catch up to you!

I knew David for over forty years and can recall the many times our families socialized together. David was the perfect host and a welcome guest at gatherings and his sense of humor kept us all laughing. He was a man of many accomplishments and he lived his life to the fullest.
