Dear Pivec Family: I just want to let you know that we, in our family, were fanatic Ottawa Rough Rider fans and Dave Pivec was a fantastic player. He was clutch. He was tough and we admired his talent and desire to succeed. I am sorry to read of his passing and send along our condolences. Your friends from Canada, John Allum

My condolences to the family. Dave was a great guy on and off the Racquetball court. He did so much with the sport of Racquetball in the 80s in the Maryland area. He will be missed rest in peace, Dave.

I knew Dave from our teenage years in Highlandtown belonging to the Red Shield Boys Club and competing against him in Highschool baseball & basketball One memberable game was the Cardinal Gibbens tournament 1958 he played for Gordon Stores that team was loaded with future big leaguers we beat them 1to0 Dave Boswell lost on a one hitter Until we meet again may God be with you.
