I was talking to Don Dickenson the other day and our thoughts turned to Dave. Now Julia is moving back to Michigan. When I get back, as many of us a possible need to get together. Dave, even though the years have passed, I still think of you often.

Sorry for your loss. I knew him for a short while. We played paintball together here and abroad.
He was a good man.

Mysti, you know. With so many memories shared with Dave, it's hard to express them in this forum. In my life Dave was a best friend, best man, Uncle Dave to my children, and my Brother. I love and miss you much, Brother. Until we meet again. Peace

Hello, I just found out about Dave passing away and wanted to tell the family i am sorry for thier loss. Dave was an awesome man. I knew Dave through playing paintball with him. I dont know how many of you knew Dave played but we had some good times back in 2002. Here is a link to an article they did on us playing paintball in Penn.

OUR HEARTS AND PRAYERS GO OUT TO THE FAMILY. I WOULD SEE DAVE EVERYDAY AT WORK AND WE WOULD GO BACK AND FORTH ON NUMEROUS SUBJECTS. WE HAD A GREAT TIME DAILY AND ALWAYS COULD COUNT ON HIM. LOOKING BACK I SAW HIM MORE THAN I SAW MY OWN FAMILY AND IN A WAY HE WAS FAMILY.THERE IS NOT A DAY THAT GOES BY THAT I EXPECT HIS MORNING PHONE CALL AND HEARING IS VOICE..HE WILL BE MISSED GREATLY! HE WILL NEVER BE REPLACED BECAUSE FAMILY CAN NEVER BE REPLACED. UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN I WILL THINK OF YOU...

I was a friend of Dave's through the Land Cruiser Association, I met him at one of the association's events in the Cherokee National Forest here in Tennessee. I enjoyed his spirit and especially the hospitality he and Mysti showed all of us with their chili dinner. He was always willing to help a friend and frequently gave sage advice to newcomers on repairs via the associations internet list. We will all miss him greatly.
