Not sure what to say?

Dear Mr. Pologruto(and Family),

I just found out about this, and I'm obviously devastated. When I was picking my classes for my senior year, I took this class called "robotics". I thought it would be a BS class that would be easy as I was already accepted into college. Senioritis was in full swing. Not only did Mr. Pologruto get me interested, but he managed to get me on all the trips to Motorola and beyond and I had a blast and learned a ton!

He helped kids get on the right...

I as many of the people who have written entries before me was a former student of Mr. Pologruto. I had the pleasure of attending his class at Taravella my junior year in 96'. I have never met a teacher who showed so much concern for their students as he did. It is because of Mr. Pologruto that I took three physics classes in college toward a business degree.
My thoughts go out to his family.

I graduated from St. Thomas in 2003 and took honors physics with Mr. Pologuto my senior year. I am now at Nova Southeastern finishing up my pre-medical degree with a minor in Physics. I thank him for instilling a strong knowledge of physics in me back in high school. I loved his class and still enjoy and excell in physics courses. His kindness and passion for teaching stands out among the rest and I can still remember his smiling face. My brother and sister also took physics with him,...

My deepest sympathy to the Pologruto family. My thoughts and prayers are with you. love, cousin pam virgilio

The whole Pologruto family has been so kind to me. I am friends with Kelli and my first time going to their house the whole family welcomed me with open arms. I'm keeping the Pologruto family in my thoughts and prayers. Mr. Pologruto was such an inspiration to everybody and he was loved. I really wish I would have been able to attend the funeral services to say my last good- byes

My sincerest sympathy goes out to the Pologruto family. I had Mr. Pologruto at JPT in 1992. I remember he always found a way to make physics interesting and easy to understand. I am a teacher now, and appreciate that even more. I do remember that big project we had to do at the end of the year. My dog actually ate mine (true story)on the weekend of the prom. My boyfriend asked him, at the prom while he was dancing with his wife, if I had to redo it. He told me I didn't if I brought in...

To the Pologruto family,

My deepest prayers go out to you in this time of loss. I had Mr. Pologruto as a teacher in 2001, and while I was the worst possible student, he still made it fun with his laughter and kindness, and honestly, I really enjoyed him and almost joined robotics because of him. He will be missed. His is ith Jesus now.

Dear Kathy and family,
I would like to express my sincere thoughts with you and family.
Dave was a easy going guy, a great cousin and memories of kids in Phillipsburg. Glad we got to see him a few years ago, in Palm Bay, Fl. Take care God is watching over you and family.

Love Cousin

I had the honor of being in Mr. Pologruto's Physics class my senior year at Taravella. He was one of the most passionate, enthusiastic and encouraging teacher's I've ever had. His passion for the subject touched all of his students. My prayers are with his family during this most difficult time.
With deepest sympathy,
