Read MoreFormer mentor and AF leader, Chief (ret) David Popp recently passed at the young age of 56. I had the honor of serving with him while stationed at Kadena, and he was the PACAF Command Chief. While I doubt he would have remembered me on our many meetings, he made an impression on me. Deepest condolences go out to his wife, Aimee, family, and friends. Awesome individual taken from the world way too soon. RIP...Chief!
