My thoughts and prayers go out to Dave's family. It was an honor to have worked with Dave at Malloy's for several years. He will be dearly missed. RIP my friend.

So Sorry to hear of Uncle Daves passing. I remember when Dad & I came to visit for the reunion he opened his house and his heart to us. It was an amazing time for me. Both of them treated me like their own kids. I remember the horseshoe games and having Uncle Dave try to explain Bachi ball to me and of course who was who. He was so patient and made everything fun. I am keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers.

Just heard about Dave, and am so sorry. Dave and Genny were our neighbors on Miller Road and "Grandparents" to our kids, Jeff and Brett. Dave was indeed a jack-of-all-trades. If Dave couldn't fix it, then "buy a new one". He was a very social guy, and I loved listening to his stories. We were treated like members of the "Poppenger" family and hope all of you felt like our family too. We counted on each other for 30 years and are blessed to have been able to do so. Dave's presence, his good nature and kind mannerism along with his huge smile and very distinctive laugh is still very much missed and forever in my mind and many others here at Malloy's who had the pleasure to have worked along side of and with Dave. He will always remain in my thought's, and his presence will always be missed very much here at Malloy's by myself as well as others who knew Dave also as well.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Dave's son, daughters and family. I work with Diana Poppenger and know Dave will be missed.

My Condolences and prayers to the family. I worked with Dave at Malloys. He was a very nice person and fun to be around. I learned a lot from him, and thought of him often.

Emily, may I share our family condolences with you? What a great photo of Dave. You may also remember my parents Ray and Ethel Huntwork. Mom celebrated her 97th birthday last March, in good health and spirits with 41 of us from across the continent.
