Not sure what to say?

My Dearest Brother,
I miss you still.
Love forever,
Your Sister

David,
Time has passed but we still remember. Just want to say it was our pleasure to have known you more than 30 years not just as a fellow physician, but as a friend. You were the soft spoken physician for our children through the years also and you will be warmly remembered by all of us.
Bert & Cynthia Caruthers.

To: the family. Brother Porter has certainly been missed from the rank and files of our dear fraternity. May God forever grant you the strength to keep on trusting in Him. Brother Herman Davis, Jr and family, '06 Kansas City MO

To my brother David,
I miss your warm and quiet presence. Words cannot express the feeling of loss as I grieve. I will always love you. The Porter Family misses you!
Your Sister,
Vonnelle

My memories of David are brief from our time at Carter G. Woodson High School in Abilene, TX. His legacy is of a life well lived, continuing that of his namesake/father, our school principal, who mastered the accreditation for a segregated school.

Didn't know him but did know his parents & sisters. Proud 1965 Woodson grad. My deepest sympathies are conveyed. May God continue to bless you all.

our prayers are for the family.

I was saddened to hear of the passing of my friend and classmate from medical school. I will miss his presence at the annual meetings at the National Medical Association and our class reunions at Meharry. My wife, ,Janice, joins me in expressing our condolences to the Porter family.

As I grieve the loss of David I extend condolences to Sandra and the Porter family.
