Not sure what to say?

David, we will never forget your gentle soul, loving spirit, meticulous scrapebooks, and perfect timing on drums. You brought joy into every room you entered. Your life was full. We send you off to heaven and your parents with this brief prayer from the Episcopal Book of Common Prayer: May angels surround you and saints welcome you in peace.

We remember David as being a gentle, kind and loving person. He always had a smile or a laugh for us and enjoyed sharing stories of playing his drums. His accomplishments were quite remarkable. He was a very special man who gave freely of his love and fully enjoyed and appreciated all of the love he received from others.

Today we gather to celebrate the life of David Post. Reflection will come in thought, prayer, music, and memories. It is in the memories, that we will continue to live life recalling the joyful times we shared together. I feel truly blessed to have met and known David. I know by the gifts he has shared with me, I've become a better person. Thank you David.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family during this difficult time of loss.

We will never forget how kind and loving David was years ago to our little son, when Mark (now 50) was only 5 or 6. God bless and keep our dear cousin under His caring wing.

We will miss David dearly. With his sense of humor, his musical gifts, and his generous affection, he was always good company. Getting to know him and observing all that his family, especially his sister Marge and his brother-in-law Bill, brought to his life enlarged our hearts.

We did know David but wish we had. Regards to all of the family.

Carol and Dave Wiberg

You were our little angel from heaven. You taught us to see things differently and brought us great joy. We will miss you.
Love,

The lives of our family were enriched and strengthened through knowing and loving David. All members of our family are grateful for David's influence, love and strength that went far beyond what we could ask or think. We learned so much from him about how to live--a wonderful reflection of our parents. We are better because of him.

I had known my uncle, David Post, for 46 years, and can truly say that he was pure goodness and grace sent from God above. I will cherish the laughter and joy we shared together forever.
