Not sure what to say?

I was shocked and saddened to see Dave had passed away. Life is too short. He will certainly be missed. I had the privilege of going through law school with Dave, and crossing paths with him several times since, as we've both practiced in the IP area.

My condolences to all his family! He will certainly be missed.

Love Dave! I am married to Dave's cousin Scott Preece my High School Sweatheart! I remember hanging with the Preece Boys and later men. They were all crazy, hilarious and rambunctious! My cheeks would ache by the end of the night from laughing so hard. Dave was larger than life, like his beautiful heart!! Scott and I have been telling Dave stories all week up here in Washington. He is loved by so many!! Our thoughts and prayers are with Dave's wife Claire and his children and his parents...

Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife Claire and with his children and family.

Dear Norm & Linda, I can't find an address for you to send a card and I tried to phone you. Reed had to go to Wyo for some ranch business so we were not able to attend David's funeral. We are so very sorry for you loss and we can really say that we know how you feel. May Heavenly Father bless you with his peace at this hard time. A quote from Pres. Monson was some comfort to me...." It is imperative that we recognized that whatever has happened to us has happened to others, they have...

I worked with Dave at CHC for as long as he was there. "Big personality" describes him so well. He made you laugh and was so pleasant to be around. I will never, ever forget the morning he came into the office at an early hour wearing this giant motorcycle helmet. I screamed and he thought it was so hilarious. He could always see the humor in things and that was so awesome.

My most sincere condolences to all of Dave's family. He will be missed and never forgotten.

Dave was my great friend. I will miss him terribly.

I had the privilege to work with David on a fascinating legal matter. He struck me as a capable, compassionate and talented attorney. My sincere condolences to his family, friends and colleagues.

Best Regards,

Phil Dyer

I had the pleasure of working as an intern at Tech Law and got to know David pretty well. i had a Yamaha VMAX at the time and fast CTS-V, and he was never to busy to talk motorcycles, cars or even patents. I was just in last week to talk to him about a patent I filed and he gave me some great ideas for products to develop for Harley's. I could call him a friend, and I will miss him so much. I always dreamed of getting a brand new VMAX and rolling into Tech Law to see the look on his face....

It has been a long time since our days in the Glendale 3rd Ward and our kayak trips on the Colorado River. 50 years ago in fact. I am so sorry to read of the passing of your son. As I was reading the Deseret News on line, his name jumped off the page, and I said I must know this gentleman, Further reading reveled that it was your son. We are very sorry for your loss. He was certainly an accomplished young man and I am sure you are very proud of him. . Your family...
