Dana and David - - -

I just learned today (10/6/12) of your Dad's passing. My husband of 56 years, Wally Erickson, and I loved your Dad (AND YOUR MOM)more than I can ever tell you. I was so sad BUT I know Dave was welcomed with open arms and great joy at the Pearly Gates by Wally. I can almost visualize the two men sitting down with Jesus and plotting new plays to win a game. They'd played against one another, Dave for Central and Wally for Humboldt, when in high school and became...

Mr. Primrose was my homeroom teacher, senior social studies teacher, cross-country coach but above all was my basketball coach at West High (62'). He taught me much and I'm saddened by his passing. I looked up to him and only wish I could have spent some time with him as an adult. A very fine mentor and coach.

Primrose Family,

Dave Primrose was a gentleman and a true professional. He was my basketball coach at Minneapolis West my sophomore and he taught me a lot about the game.

He was a great man and will be missed.

I am so sorry for your loss of Dave. I truely enjoyed taking care of him through Methodist Homecare. His smile and stories of his cowboy days were the best! I know he will be missed by his family, friends and those of us fortunate to care for him! Susan Spiegle RN Methodist Homecare

I am so sorry for your loss. I knew Dave through the Minnesota Artists Association and always enjoyed seeing him. He was such a gentle soul. I am so sorry I missed his service. I received the news too late or I would have been there. We talked about Estes Park because my family had cabins there back in the 1930's. Dave was a great artist and wonderful man! I'll always remember him. With deepest sympathy, Marjorie Moody

Dave was my supervising teacher at Henry Sibley when I entered the profession back in 1969. We went on to be members of the same teaching team and I assisted him in basketball for several years. He was a true professional and gentleman. When it became apparent that Nellie could no longer camp we purchased their pop-up tent camper. That was in 1976. I think one of Dave's fondest memories is when our family visited him in Colorado and he saw that camper back in action. We still have that...

Dave, Lorry, Dana and Rollie,
Wishing you all peace and comfort.
With sympathy in your loss.

Dana, your dad will certainly be missed by a lot of people. We really enjoyed talking to him about our mutual appreciation for the mountains. He was wonderful man and a delight to be around. What great memories you will always have of your dad.
