David Proulx

David was my last surviving Uncle. He was the youngest of five brothers. Donald ,John, Eugene, Arthur, and David. My Father was Gene and he was devoted to his youngest brother. I remember David telling me of his memories of Gene and another friend leaping for joy when they were accepted into flight school in 1942 and how hard it was to wait for his brother to return from the Pacific War. David and I began a friendship after we both found ourselves living in Pinellas County Florida around...

I came to know David and Muriel through being a Homebound Minister from St Thomas More Catholic Community. It was truly my honor and privilege to bring them Communion each week until the pandemic paused us.

I admired them both for their loving attitudes towards one another and their kind hearts. I remember David especially for his keen interest in practically any subject and the smile he always wore.
