Dear Dave Jr.,

My heart goes out to you and your family as you mourn the death of your dad. I just returned from the memorial which I attended with my dad and it has stirred up many sweet memories of times long past. Please know that you and your family are in my prayers as you find your way with the grace of God through this difficult time.

Many blessings on you and all you love,

Doug,
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family on the passing of your Dad. I got to know him from the many FS&S golf tournaments he attended with you. It was an honor to have known a person like him, in his own way, made this world a better place.

Aloha,

Drift Boat

Pat: My thoughts are with you and the family. I am thankful that I got to know Dave and
have many great memories. He passed on his passion for river running which I have been always grateful. This picture is how I will remember him.

Dear Pat,

Marnie and I extend our suncerest condolences on Dave's passing.

The recall of the times, experiences, concurrent observations and values that underscored our long relationship will long represent a highlight of our lives and recollections.

Best wishes for a long life and enjoyment of family.

Marnie and Leon

Dear Pat, Doug and family,

Please accept our sincere condolences on your loss. I enjoyed knowing Dave from a business perspective because of his great attitude and his ability to listen and understand. Most of all however, I remember his friendly hospitable way. My family and I had just moved from Canada in October 1977 when Dave invited us to share Thanksgiving with the Pugh’s. Not a Thanksgiving has passed since, that we have not recalled the warmth we felt that day. God bless...

Pat:

Such great memories working with Dave in the 1960's as he and SOM did the first long range plan for Portland State University and gave us a great start. Best wishes. Bill Lemman, Salem, OR
