Not sure what to say?

Prayers and thoughts are with the family. I remember him as humble and approachable. A fellow Red Raider.

My deepest sympathies to the family. I remember Dave well from his time at Eastern.

I remember David in high school (Ecorse), and the funny moments we shared during his Senior year. There was an incident in the cafeteria when Dave was preparing for some important interview, he wore a suit and tie. A food fight insued,Dave was not a paticipant, however, ended up with soup splashed on him. The place went silent and cleared out immediately leaving me to deal with Dave. He came over to me leaned his 260 lbs. pinning my 160 lbs. against the wall. We laughed about my inability to...

David was the most dedicated, tenacious, devoted, loyal person I have ever known. He approached life and it's challenges with fierce determination, which enabled him to become the success he was in life. I have many fond memories of David from high school thru his professional career. He leaves behind wonderful examples for all of us to remember and honor him. I am sorry for his family's loss, as it has to be a void bigger than David himself.

Though I ran into David only occasionally since college, I think of him as a good friend with a great sense of humor. His loved ones are in my thoughts and prayers.

David was a very caring brother-in-law for several years. Even though we lost touch through the years David is missed. May God keep him in his care.

BROTHER PURIFORY WAS THE MOST HUMBLE PERSON I HAVE COME TO KNOW, I MARVELED AT HIS KNOWLEDGE OF THE BIBLE. WE LOVED HIM VERY VERY MUCH.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.
