Not sure what to say?

My heartfelt sympathies go out to the Radtke family for their and our loss.

I also worked with Dave at EPRI for many years and can only echo the well expressed sentiments of all those who knew Dave as a true professional and a good friend. He always would lighten an occasion with his humor and will be missed.

“Little Buddy” first touched my life in college and more profoundly in the years to follow. Regular visits to Britannia Arms were followed by more memorable trips to Capitola, Tom Carlson’s cabin, various sporting events and a role in my wedding. Dave’s uniquely competitive spirit and thirst for fun and games made each of these the most memorable events in my life. You can bet the next trip to the cabin will include a Jouji board - only this time we will avoid the temptation to control the...

I lost communication with Dave when I moved away 3 1/2 years ago, but he always had a place in my heart. To the Radke family, please accept my deepest sympathy. I pray that somehow your memories of Dave will help lighten the sorrow that each day brings. I hope you are as touched as I am by the wonderful messages from so many people whose lives Dave touched. Dave, I hope you are in a better place and have found peace. I will miss you.

I was very saddened to hear about Dave. Obviously, he is missed by many. I met Dave in college at Chico State; we would ride home together after Advanced Accounting class. I knew him primarily as A.D. His nickname originated because I would tell my roommate (Tom Carlson) that Dave was coming with us and since we knew several Daves; he was given the name "Accounting Dave" or A.D. I knew Dave as a very fun-loving,energetic, and extremely competitive person. I enjoyed many raquet ball games with...

Dave - Ever since you've left EPRI, you've been missed. I remember seeing you on the way to lunch in Foster City one day and made plans to get together but never did. I'm so sorry we didn't. You were a great Santa and a lot of fun to be around. I'm glad to have known you.

May your family remember you with fond memories and know you were loved. You were a great kid.

My deepest sympathy to Dave's family and friends. I worked with
Dave in Finance at EPRI in 1999. He had a good sense of humor, very kind, friendly and a such a hardworker. I remember how he helped me with uploading the budget into the new system and made time to stop by my office just to say hello before meeting with Phil Patzner. He will be missed forever!!!

Dave, you were a great colleague and friend at EPRI. I will remember you always with a great smile and friendly attitude. My heart and prayers are with you and your family in this trying time. I hope that the loving memories of your time together will provide you with peace in your minds and hearts.
May God bless you all always!

The first day I met Dave at DCAA, he played a prank on me and the jokes continued from there. I'll miss the "Guy's Vegas trips" with Dave and his reactions when I would beat him in ping pong or any other competition. He still owes me for throwing my sandal in the American river during one of our rafting trips. The world was a better place with Dave around. I'll never forget him.

Dave. I still smile every time I think about us sitting around on the bench playing in the dirt with our trucks during our freshman baseball games. You were my first workout partner when we used to go to SMART and hang upside down. How did I end up so wimpy while you were so "huge?" I miss you, Dave.
