Not sure what to say?

David and I spent many a day discussing politics back and forth. I always came away feeling a little smarter after our discussions. He knew how to listen as well as anyone and had an inherent fairness about him that I truly emulated. He always wanted to understand both sides of every issue and was not afraid to question what were often misguided assumptions.

It is so weird to think he is gone. I remember discussing his plans to go to officer school on the last guy of school. I remember...

Dear Dave and Andrea,
Even though I do not know you, I knew your son. He was an amazing individual. He always, always had a smile on his face when I saw him. He was very down-to-earth, honest, genuine, and one of the smartest people I have ever met.
I hope you will find comfort knowing that his memory lives on at Tufts University, where he positively influenced countless individuals with his optimism, sincerity, and intelligence.

Dear Dave and Andrea,
We were shocked to hear of David’s untimely death. Bill feels fortunate
to have spent time with him from birth through his maturing into a fine young
man. Sandy enjoyed listening and playing music with David. He had so
much talent. We also enjoyed our time skiing with him. He was such a
delightful person.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and we will miss his spirit in this world.

Andrea & Dave,

We were all so saddened to hear about David.

I'm glad that we were able to meet David a couple of years back while he was touring colleges in our area.

You are both in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Dave and Andrea,
We were so saddened to hear about your tragedy. Life is so fragile.
Please know, that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

Andrea and Dave, You are in our thoughts and prayers. David will always be with you in your heart and in your dearest memories. Thank you for all the pictures and letters that allowed us to get to know David from afar.

I just returned from Europe and saw David's card in the foyer of the Olympic Club. Diane and Colin are still in transit from London.
This is just a terrible tragedy, and our hearts go out to David and Andrea. All we can do is love our sons unconditionally for as long as God gives them to us. Requiescat in pace, David.

Dear Dave, Just wanted you to know I am keeping you and your family in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. May you find some comfort in all the wonderful memories you shared as a family together.

Although I only met Dave a week before he passed, he impressed me as a first class guy and someone his father was truly proud of. I would like to pass my sincerest condolences on to his family and friends. I trust that he will continue to live on in the heart of those that loved him.
