Oh my gosh! I am so sorry to hear this. I'm in shock really. I did not know. Dave and I went to grade school together up until the 9th grade when we moved. I had just found him and other old school friends on facebook. Rest in peace my friend. You will be missed.

David and I at 2012 Union reunion...

To - David's family and loved ones ~ my heartfelt wishes that time will heal your wounds, and your sorrow and your loss will be accepted.

I didn't know Dave but I enjoyed reading all the fun he seemed to bring to the UHS Reunions the last couple of years. I would have liked to have been in his presence at least once. His life is a reminder to me that I need to really be with the person in front of me and really listen to what he/she is or isn't sharing. To his family...I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. He reminds me to be fully present to others.

God bless you for your kindness and clever wit. You brightened up so many lives. You were a wonderful father and a good friend. May God comfort your family and friends during this difficult time. You are loved.

So sorry for the loss of David. He was a good man and a great Father.

I will always remember Dave being one of the nicest guys! My son Tim and Aaron played hockey together and Dave lived right down the road from where we lived. Both our sons joined the Army too. Just saw him recently at Family Fare and we talked about the good old days. You will be missed Dave!
