I worked for David as his SHO at West Suffolk in 1995 for six months while I was on the GPVTS. I loved to assist him in theatre. He was extremely skilled and very fast, and I do not remember any complications. He had An infectious smile and the list always seemed to run like a dream. Obstetric clinics in Sudbury were also fun. I got to ride in the Rover, and sometimes stop in Long Melford afterwards to look at antique bookcases... My wife and I lived over the road in College Street and David...
