David Reese

Prayers for the family, many friends and all the players Coach led.

David Reese. Gave me my first coaching job as JV basketball coach at Wando in 1974. Little did I know that it would lead to a 52 year coaching career for me so far The years at Wando for me were golden. Coaching 3/4 sports. Meeting a lot of good people. David, Gerald Moody, Jack Meeize, Barry Wright, Donald Stone, Robbie Stevens, Sarah Sanders, Linda White all taught me a lot. David will be sorely missed!!

Great coach! Rest in peace Coach Reese.

Coach thank you for everything that you did to help me and the boys we coach become better men! You will be missed!

What a great. Teacher. He was. He taught. Me drivers Ed. He was great fun. And postive. Person. To know. He did put a wonderful impact on us. 80. Kids.

It was my good fortune to have coached with Rock Reese for several years at First Baptist and Northwood. As fine a man and coach as I've ever known. He loved athletics of all types but more so loved the kids that played those sports. Rest easy Coach. You ran the race and finished strong.
