We wanted to let you know we were thinking if you Uncle Dave. So sorry we had to miss these days to honor you but due to 3 of us with the flu and terrible road conditions we weren't able to be there. Dave was a neighbor when we were in high school and lived on Luna Ave. in Chicago. I also remember roller skating at the old Riverview Roller Rink. He was a very good skater.
Lots of fun memories. I was delighted to read of all he accomplished in public service. I also remember Dave's dad, Joe who had the popular meat market on Cicero Ave. My condolences to all Dave's family. Joan O'Brien-Pottle.
