Not sure what to say?

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Dave was a great guy that always made me laugh. He will be missed.

Dear Reid Family,
I was so saddened to hear of your loss, my heart is full of sadness and sympathy for all of you. I remember skating with Dave, sitting next to him in 7th grade science class, and helping each other get through government class. He was a genuine person who was kind to everyone no matter whom it was. I hope that many good memories will comfort you in the journey ahead.
With deepest sympathy,
Karen (Deweese) Smith

Dear Dave,

We never know what impact we have on people until we leave. Although we were separated by time and space, you were a good friend. Often I remember our "spin" in your Old Blue VW Bug.You were a Morningside Drive Legend, the kindest of sorts. An ardent EK supporter you exemplified Pride. My heart goes out to your family, I can't imagine the pain they must feel. You will be missed!

Peace

May God hold and keep you. Rest in His Peace and find Hope in His word. Prayer and sympathy for the whole family, I am so sorry for your loss. The coming days will be difficult but know that all of us who knew Dave will be praying for comfort for you all.

Thanks for teaching me how to skate backwards Dave!!

Dave was a true friend. May you find comfort in the kind words of so many. We are thinking of your family in this difficult time and remembering the great times shared with Dave, he will be missed indeed.

Our hearts go out to you at this time and in the days ahead.

Living in Texas, I hadn’t seen Dave in many years. But hardly a week would go by without something reminding me of him…whether it would be a song on the radio, or just seeing a shopping cart, and remembering Dave being pushed around Kentwood High School in a shopping cart on slave day. Those types of memories of Dave made me chuckle to myself, and will always continue to do so.
