Not sure what to say?

Still think about my close friend regularly. He made a positive impact on so many, we miss him.

His friends called him Wilber, like his Dad.I grew up in Muncie but moved to Louisiana when my dad became head basketball coach at LSU. I returned to Muncie duringLaw School breaks visiting Wilber and the Fisher brothers, Dicky and Davy and we all became friends.. He was a lovable teddy bear of a guy. I didn't know he was sick or I would have been there for him. We are all blessed to have called Him a friend. God willing, I'll hug him again in Heaven. My best wishes to your family. Jay...

My sincerest condolences from our entire family. Dave had such an impact on me personally and professionally and I will miss him greatly. He was a mentor, confidant, and a friend to all of us at NationaLease and his time as the only Chairman in NTLA Board history who did not own a NTLA Leasing Business in its 76 year history will always be appreciated and recognized as having a great impact on our organization. While I loved talking business with him I am really going to miss talking Big 10...

Brian and I have many memories of dinners and evenings at Gull Lake...Dave was unfailingly kind, and his gentle sense of humor was always evident. He was a leader of humility, self-effacing and warm, always making us feel comfortable and welcome. Carol, your love story with Dave will live on, and we hope that your memories and knowledge that you gave him vibrant love to the end will ease your heart a bit. We love you, and we'll stay in touch.

I had the exceptional opportunity to work with Dave, to be a neighbor and a friend. He always thought about others before himself. Our best wished to Carol and the family. I will miss him.

Dave was an outstanding person in many respects. To me, he was a great boss and friend for many years at Eaton Corporation. Dave was an exceptional leader who used insight, fairness and integrity in his dealings, both with internal personnel as well as our valued customers. He was an easy person to speak with, and despite being a very successful and busy executive, he always found time to discuss important issues and was a thoughtful listener. I also know he loved his family, and despite...

Our prayers and sympathy go out to Dave's family. As a colleague he was always a great guy to work with. So sorry for your loss.
