Over 30 years ago I met Lamar. You can know a lot of people in a lifetime but of those very few can be called friend. Lamar was my friend. Anytime I needed him or anytime he needed me, we were there for each other. I had the great honor of preaching Pats funeral for Lamar and the family when she died and what a wonderful family these folks are. My daddy gave Lamar the name "Pretty Boy" over 25 years ago when we were playing music together. Lamar was with us when we played the dances and clubs...
