Not sure what to say?

My dad's USNA room mate, friend for life, godfather of one of my brothers (Bill I think) and truly amazing man. How could we not all miss him?

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always.

I served under Adm Richardson, Com Car Div 5 during the Viet Nam1966 operations. He awarded me with my Third Class Quartermaster rate and I'm proud to have served under him.May he Rest In Peace.Lou Ballester

Grateful yet sad to see this on what would have been his 102nd birthday.
My father's Annapolis room mate, my brother's god father, my parents dearest friends ( Jeanne too of course).
Dave came to my school's campfire when I was teaching at a traveling school and we were camped near Julian. He delivered an eloquent tribute to my father, which touched all present.
What an incredible man and lucky family. love to you all,
Ann Bennett

I was privileged to know Dave from the 1980s, and though we had no direct contact for several years, I always enjoyed hearing from him. A gentleman and a leader. He will not be replaced in kind.
