I had the pleasure of working and volunteering with both Dave and Susan during many SERFI fly-ins. Both were dedicated volunteers to SERFI and of general aviation. Dave served as our Chairman for many years providing steady guidance with no regard for his personal sacrifices. Dave and Susan will be sorely missed by many and especially within the SERFI family. God speed to both on their westerly heading..

I was privileged to meet Dave while race officiating with IMSA. Dave was always very calm, helpfull and a joy to be around. My time getting to know him was short and I wish it would have been longer. He was definitely one of the good people in this world and will be greatly missed.
