Merry Christmas Dad, this is our first Christmas without you and it sure feels strange. I know you are in heaven with Mom now and that makes me really happy. It must be a great place to be for Christmas.

I never knew met you but I would like to "Thank you" for serving our country during WWII. If it weren't for your service to our nation and keeping us safe, we may not enjoy the lives we have now. My father is also a WWII veteran.

Again thank you for your military service to our country.

We are very proud of you and may you rest in peace.
