Dr. David Lee Riggs Jr.

We are so sorry for your loss. We join you in the mourning. It is obvious David was a man of faith and impacted so many people. You will see him soon and so will I. And so we'll so many of the people he impacted over his lifetime. I hope you find some comfort in that as you go through this valley of darkness. We will continue to pray for you guys.

I had a lot of embarrassing moments in college, and I am pressure 90% were in front of Dr. Riggs. The twinkle in his eye betrayed his gruff seriousness. He treated me with such grace. He was a dear, dear man, and he´s communing with his fellow giants.

One aspect of David that will continue in my memory is his gracious welcome and respect for everyone, regardless of their age, education, intelligence level, or socio-economic station. He truly believed that everyone who crossed his path was "the beloved of God," and treated them accordingly. His passing leaves a giant-sized hole in the fabric of so many lives. Farewell for now, David. We'll see you in The Morning!

David will be deeply missed by many this side of eternity. But, our's is an Easter Faith, and so we mourn with Hope, through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Dear Laura, Although I knew David well only from Laguna Hills HS, I have followed your lives and have been so pleased for you. I send you and your dear family my prayers, thoughts and love. May God give you His comfort through these times knowing that it is but a time before we will be together with Him.
