Not sure what to say?

Dave will be greatly missed. I loved hearing his stories when he would come visit our office. He was so knowledgable about the early days of statehood and he had so many adventures.

It is sad to learn of another great Alaskan leaving the Great Land for that Greater Land in the sky.

Having known and admired Dave for almost 50 years I can only say that his family should be proud of such a Pioneer, and Alaska has benefitted from his living the Alaskan dream. May his way of life serve as an inspiration for future Alaskans. We will all miss his guidance, leadership and example.

May God bless him with his final reward for living an exemplary life.
