Not sure what to say?

Donnie and family,
While I didn't hear of David's passing until comparatively recently, allow me to add my condolences. Many good memories are held from those MWHS days --- track and field, gymnastics and indolent hours at Berks Pharmacy 'soda bar'. It would appear that the Townships is a richer place for his having been there. Best wishes.

Sad to learn of David's death from the Jesus College (Oxford) Record 2011. We were staircase neighbours and theatrical colleagues - always wondered what had become of his larger-than-life personality - on and off stage.
It sounds like a great life, cut too short!

Dear Dionne,

I so well recall David form my days at MWHS. Togerher with Bob Innes and Bob Hubbard we won the GMIAA track and field relay race in 1959, and David was the starter and inspiration. My condolences to davis's family and associates.

As one of David's students at Bishop's University, I so fondly recall him striding into the classroom, jacket a-flapping (and flashing a dramatic hot pink lining), dropping a pile of books on the desk and announcing, "Today is whoopee Jane Austen wow" -- an ironic reflection of the disinterest he no doubt saw in our faces. But with wit, intelligence, patience and, yes, a little browbeating, he then proceeded to turn every one of us into lifelong Jane Austen fans. Such gifts to his students...

Dear Donnie,

Even tho we have not seen each other for years, I remember you both very well. My sincere condolances and sympathy at this most difficult time. One wonderful thing about our years at MWHS is that we all keep in touch thru each other one way or other. I remember David as being a great guy and it sounds like he was also extremely successful in all he did.

My heartfelt sympathy, Donnie.

David made a strong impression on all of us at MWHS.

And I too would like to be back up in that tree with you and the rover gang.
Sorry to be missing that plant and rant.
Maybe you'll join us in Toronto next July?

Dear Miss Rittenhouse,

I think that the Eastern Township has lost one of few people who know what they are talking about, when they discuss Entrepreneurship.
I have worked with David since 2003 for many entrepreneur who will never forget the "Tall Guy" who was always available to exchange on their situation.

Please accept my condolences,

Étienne Royer

All my thoughts are with you and your family. Your father was a Great man and he will be missed

Dear Donnie,
I was very sorry to hear about Dave’s passing. Ted Forrest was kind enough to send me a copy of the memorial notice. It must be a very difficult time for you and the family.
I remember Dave from MWH as a bright outstanding individual who had a special way with people and was well liked. I’m sure he will be sorely missed.
We are thinking about you way out here on the West Coast.
Warmest regards,
Norah & Warren Franklin
