To Dave Roberts Family,

Knowing Dave and working with him at HFD was an experience that will not be forgotten. The loss of Dave will leave not only a void in the lives of his family, but he will also be missed within the "Fire Fighters Family". The last time I saw Dave was while I was working at the State Fire College. Dave always had that big grin and a kind word or two whenever we met.

To Dave Roberts Family,

I met Dave in 1974 while I was working for the Hialeah Fire Department. Dave was an intelligent caring Paramedic. I rode with Sergeant Roberts on Rescue Two and I saw him do a lot of things to help the residents and visitors to the city. Dave transferred in to the Logistics Division where his ability to solve problems made the Fire Department a much safer place to work. He solved a dangerous problem with a Fire Nozzle. My sympathies to the Roberts family I worked with Dave for many years in Hialeah.. Dave loved helping people and truly loved the fire service. He held the record for the most radios on a belt. Rest in peace Dave......Anto Pena
