Not sure what to say?

We all have that one teacher. Mr. Robertson opened my eyes to the world beyond MHS and helped shape my view of the world. RIP.

Mr. Robertson was an amazing teacher. I owe my understanding of international politics to him. He was a masterful teacher who left a lasting impression.

I knew mr. Robertson as a young man from southern Indiana who used to say he didn't wear shoes until he came to northern Indiana. mr. robertson was funny , kind , caring and , as a teacher myself ,and inspiration to me and to all the great teachers I have met throughout my teaching career. I came back to see mr. Robertson shortly after I became a teacher in San Antonio , Texas, and he stopped his class to talk to me, and he told me that during that class he was comparing the Alamo with other...

I cannot begin to tell how touched I was by Mr. Robertson, or how fondly I remember him. He was one of the best people to ever have been called teacher.

You learned from him without even realizing it. He made it fun; always fun. I never left his class without a smile on my face and I never entered it without anticipating that same smile

In heaven today, there is a classroom full of angels being taught by our favorite teacher. A shy angel in the back of the room...

Mr. Robertson taught my Citizenship class the summer before my freshman year of high school at MHS. I was extremely shy, but he helped me through the adjustment to public schools. He influenced my life more than any other teacher I had. I only wish I had known that his last days were spent within 1/2 mile of my home in Indy. I would have had so much joy visiting him. God bless him and his family. He is the kind of teacher/mentor this world needs more of. Rest in peace, Mr....

Dear Mrs. Robertson & Family:
David was always my favorite teacher in high school, I have many fond memories of him. He was one of a kind.

Few teachers had the impact on my life than this man had and no doubt many feel the same. May his impact live on in all those he touched. I share his love for IU - Danny and I had many great adventures there. Next time I am in Bloomington I'll go to the Irish Lion and drink a yard of Harp in his memory!

So how many of us will always know where Burundi is located? Robbie’s method of teaching was one of a kind! I only hope that some of the students he taught are teaching our young people today. For those of us who were fortunate enough to have Robbie as a teacher, we gained so much more from him than just the information we needed to pass International Relations. It was Robbie who first sparked the travel bug in me and I’ve been traveling ever since. What an amazing man! He will be...

I learned so much in Mr. Robertson's class without it feeling like work! There was no pressure to memorize useless facts, but somehow we were able to connect the dates with events because we had something to hook that information to. Thanks for inspiring me to become a teacher!
