David Eugene Robertson

Dave was a great football player who could always be counted on to run the ball hard and get the yardage. He was a key player on our LCL championship team. He was a great team mate and friend who was always upbeat. I can still see he running the ball and faking the opposing defense out of their shoes as he headed to the end zone. In the number of years we underwent 2 a days in August heat you learn lot about a person's character. He was stout. He was a friend. He will be sorely missed.

Losing someone that we love never comes easy. It is truly heartbreaking. May God's promises in Isaiah 65:17 comfort and help you.

Iona So sorry about the loss of your son. You probably do not remember me. I was married to Duane Martin back when we were young. I have thought of you many times through the years. I know it doesn't seem like it right now but you will get through this in time, May God be with you at this time, My heart and prayers are with you.
