Not sure what to say?

Since I've lived so far from Anne and David since leaving Columbus in 1983, it's usually easy to forget that David has indeed left us for good, but on this third anniversary it's nice to remember again his easy good cheer, his often fey sense of humor, his willingness to take on any musical project, his prodigious gifts. How lucky we all are to have claimed him for a friend. Love to Anne, Suzanne, and Drew.

Dear Anne, Suzanne, Drew, Joyce, and all the wonderful Robinson clan;
Our sincerest condolences. David was one of the most talented and special people I have ever had the privilege to know and work with. Such a sweetheart, I do not need to tell you, he is a treasure. He will be sorely missed by so many, including us.
Love and Peace to you all,
Tami & David Kuhlmann

David was one of the most gifted and charming of the many musicians I've had the honor and pleasure to play with over the years. My memories are so many, and so wonderful: singing and playing recorder and viola da gamba with him in the Columbus Baroque Ensemble in the late 1970s and The Augustans in the early 80s; at our Early Music Week at Put-in-Bay in the mid-70s; coming home from Coppola's "Napoleon" at the Ohio Theater and having David sit down in my living room and play...

Anne, to you and your children, my sincere condolences upon the loss of David. My experiences with him at OSU are among my fondest memories of that time.

Amy and I are deeply sorry to learn of his passing, and send our sincerest condolences and prayers to Anne and the family. David will be warmly remembered and sorely missed by members of the university, arts and opera community.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Robinson's during this very difficult time. May his spirit soar in the heavens surrounded by loved ones, and your treasured memories give you peace here on earth, until you meet again. With lots of love
